Augusta Girls Softball exists to provide a positive environment for young girls in and around the Augusta Kansas area to develop the skills of sportsmanship and teamwork; to gain an understanding of the skills required to master the game of softball; and to understand the meaning of healthy competition.

Registration Starts February 19th

Girls ages 4-15 may participate in one of our four age divisions: T-ball, 8U, 11U and 15U.

Cost

Cost is $65 for T-ball and $75 all other divisions

There will be a $10 discount for each additional family member when registered at the same time.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

When registration opens up on February 19th click on registration. You can login to an existing account or create an account and then enroll. It is highly recommend you register online to receive emails and text concerning updated league information and game information.

Or bring your 2024 Registration Form and a check to the Augusta Softball fields and drop off in the new Drop Box, located on the west side of the concession stand. Applications will not be approved until payments are made. Please do not take the form to Cooper Drug. As they will not be accepting registration forms.

When it has rained, we generally wait until 4:00-4:30pm to assess the conditions of the fields. We will always try our best to get the fields playable for the girls. In the event of thunderstorms or other dangerous weather conditions, members of the AGSI board will monitor the situation and will make decisions regarding canceling or delaying of games. This also includes the monitoring of lightning strikes in the area. If lightning strikes within a 10 mile radius, games will be delayed and will resume 30 minutes after the last lightning strike in the area.

Coaches will schedule team pictures on draft day and inform players parents of the date and time. Picture packets will hand out to coaches the same day they will get the team shirts.

June 17th will be used as a make up day if needed. June 18th, 20th, 24th, 25th and 27th will be used for the end of the season league tournament. However, if we do not need to use June 17th as a make-up day, we will start the tournament on the 17th. The tournament will be double elimination
